These terms are an agreement between you and Zcentric ("we", "us") for your use of OnCal, our calendar app for Mac, iPhone and Android (the "App"). By installing or using the App, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the App.
1. Using OnCal
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own use, including at work. You may not sell, rent or redistribute the App, or copy, modify or reverse-engineer it except where the law allows it regardless of these terms. If you got the App from the App Store or Google Play, that store's terms also apply.
2. Your accounts and other services
OnCal works with accounts you already have, such as Google, Microsoft, iCloud and Zoom. Those services are run by their providers under their own terms and privacy policies, and we're not responsible for them. You're responsible for your accounts and for what you ask OnCal to do with them: when you create, change, delete or reply to an event, set up mirroring, or add a video meeting, OnCal makes that change in your account on your behalf.
3. Alerts are a help, not a guarantee
OnCal tries hard to get you to every meeting, but alerts depend on things outside our control: your device's settings and permissions, notifications, battery and power saving, your network, and your calendar provider. An alert may be late or not come at all. Don't rely on OnCal as your only reminder for anything where missing it would cause serious harm.
4. Your privacy
How the App handles your information is described in the OnCal Privacy Policy.
5. Changes to the App
We may add, change or remove features, and test versions of the App may have bugs. We may stop offering the App, and we'll try to give notice before we do. If we introduce paid features, their price and terms will be shown before you pay.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use the App to break the law, to access accounts or calendars you aren't allowed to, or in a way that interferes with the services it connects to.
7. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we don't promise that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free or that every alert will arrive.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Zcentric won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, business or opportunities, including from a missed or late alert or an event changed at your request. Our total liability for any claim about the App is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim, or US$10 if you paid nothing. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you; nothing in these terms limits rights you have that can't be limited by law.
9. Ending these terms
You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it and removing its access to your accounts. We may end your license if you break these terms. Sections 3, 7, 8 and 10 continue after these terms end.
10. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where Zcentric is established, without regard to its conflict of law rules, unless the law where you live requires otherwise. If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes tell you in the App. If you keep using the App after a change, the updated terms apply.
